Why do we get Fine Lines and Wrinkles?
Fine lines and wrinkles on the face and body are just a natural part of one’s ageing process. These are some of the main reasons why fine lines and wrinkles appear:
- Ageing – As we age our skin changes. These things decrease over time – a) the production of collagen and elastin, the proteins responsible for the skin’s elasticity and firmness. This results in the skin’s lack of ability to bounce back and therefore wrinkles are formed.
