Rosacea treatment with DMK Beaconsfield

Rosacea – Beaconsfield

At Skin Revision, a Rosacea treatment is a common one and one we pride ourselves on its success. Rosacea does affect children, however, it mainly affects adults between the ages of 30-50. The typical signs of Rosacea are redness and broken capillaries of the cheeks, nose, chin, and forehead.

Deep foundation or makeup is often used to try to camouflage the rosacea, but this is not the solution. Blocking and creating bacteria in any open pores may well be the cause of Rosacea in many people.   We can significantly reduce the rosacea and help you manage it forever.

Common reasons for Rosacea

  • UV rays from the sun are very likely to have an effect on your Rosacea
  • Exposure to increased heat such as long periods in warm rooms. This increases blood flow.
  • Working out or cardio causes sweating. Try shorter workout periods to minimise sweat in the pores.
  • Alcohol. There is strong evidence that there is a connection between alcohol and Rosacea. It is actually thought to be the most common reason why people develop Rosacea when they get to age 30 and upwards. Alcohol contains histamine which is a known chemical that does not allow the body to break down the alcohol. Red wine is particularly bad for Rosacea.
