Verrucas

Book Your FREE Verruca Analysis
Verruca treatment in Beaconsfield.......... Verrucas are small tough lumps on the surface of the skin that are found most commonly on the fingers and the feet. They can disappear on their own but can remain on an area of the body for many years unless they are treated professionally.
Treatment at Skin Revision will involve medical-grade CryoPen Cryotherapy.

A CryoPen treatment would involve freezing the Verruca with jets of nitrous oxide. This kills the vessel causing it to die and eventually fall off. The removal of a verruca is not usually funded by the NHS (GP / doctor), but is available in our verruca clinics in Beaconsfield.

Can children have treatment for Verrucas?

We can treat children for Verrucas from the ages of 6 years old to 17 years old provided we receive a letter of consent from your GP. A parent or guardian will need to be present during the treatment. The treatment can be as long as 30 seconds to perform and there is minimal discomfort other than a freezing sensation at the point of contact on the verruca.
It is common for a second or even a third treatment to be necessary, especially for the larger and more established verrucas. Treatments would take place in about three-week intervals.
